DD was given nebuliser as treatment for 5 consecutive days as the diagnose was wheezing bronchitis...
he mentioned that it'll take some time for my DD to recover even after the nebuliser treatment
no f/up is reqd....my DS's still coughing at times

He's very popular among parents who bring their kids to SBCC. He specialises in asthma and cough.

he might be good, but somehow i find him rather cold---and rush, dun have that gentle or assuring touch. in fact when we saw him today, my husband tot that he was quite fierce. when i asked him is there anyway to prevent runny nose to become cough---he straightaway said no, it;s like that one,...when i went home to think, i felt, he could have been more detailed, and explain why, or maybe advise that avoid letting bb sleep in aircon, blah blah... somehow i feel he is trying to chase us away.
can anyone reccommend a better PD? Dr yy yip besides him is very popular, is he really good?

Is it? I'm surprised to hear that cos that sort of remark is typically used on my Pd at the same clinic haha. I've brought my girl to Dr Ngiam a couple of times when our Pd is on leave, and Dr Ngiam explained things to us in detail, talks slowly, gently and very assuring leh.

hmmm are we talking about the same doc ngiam here? i went to him 2 times before but still dun find him friendly and assuring.. maybe because i was bombarding him w questions?:P or maybe it is cause we dun need to pay consultation fee cus of hub's company? i dunno, but i can tell you , all we spent was mere 5 to 7 minutes in his clinic, before leaving with a feeling of being chased out.
maybe that might be a reason why dr yy yip 's queue is always more than dr ngiam...
in the end, i switched to Dr Lee bee wah of mt elizabeth...

ok, i feel i need to clarify things here. i went back to dr ngiam today--din wanna doctor hop too many. and this time i found him more "xi xin" and assuring.---could be because ds's condition was worse and had to use neubuliser. but whatever it is, this time round it did change my previous impression of him and i think i owe him that.
